It seems that Kim Kardashian wants nothing less than the perfect bridal dress for her wedding with Kris Humphries, after being spotted searching for choices at Vera Wang in New York City.

Kardashian, joined by sister Kourtney, checked out the famous designer's gorgeous gown offerings in the presence of a film crew.

Though Kardashian's wedding date has not yet been made public, recent reports suggest that the brunette beauty and her NBA playing fiance have made their decision as to when to tie the knot.

"The date that close friends of the family are being given is toward the beginning of August. They are looking at private estates in Los Angeles, since location will make it much easier for guest flying in to attend," Gossip Centre quoted an insider as saying

Emma Watson was drunk only once

'Harry Potter' star Emma Watson has revealed that she has tried alcohol but has been very very drunk only once in her life.

Watson, 21, made the revelation during an interview on 'The Late Show With David Letterman' in New York.

Yes I have tried spirits, we drink at 18 in the UK but I'm actually legal to drink here now, it's worth mentioning. Yes, yes I have. I got very very drunk once in my life as everyone does. Fine I got drunk, I have been drunk - and I'll bow to that! Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

She was asked if she had ever peed on the subway, while in an intoxicated state.

No it's never gotten that bad - thankfully it's never been that bad, she replied.

Brad Pitt supports the gay marriage

Recently New York became the sixth state to legalise gay marriage in the US. On the heels of this development, Hollywood actor Brad Pitt said every American should have the right to marry whoever they want, and supported the new legislation in favour of same-sex marriage.

He even said that he won't wed Angelina Jolie until gay marriage is legal everywhere. "I have love in my life, a soul mate. When someone asked me why Angie and I don't get married, I replied, 'Maybe we'll get married when it's legal for everyone else.' I stand by that, although I took a lot of flak for saying it — hate mail from religious groups. They say gay marriage ruins families and hurts kids. Well, I've had the privilege of seeing my gay friends being parents and watching their kids grow up in a loving environment."

Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One fetches Rs.350 million for TV rights

Ra.1 is produced by Gauri and Shahrukh Khan, and features SRK in a superhero avatar G.One. The hotly anticipated sci-fi flick is expected to be the biggest release at Diwali this year.

Per reports Star TV has agreed to part with Rs.350 million for the satellite TV rights of the film; Salman Khan’s Bodyguard, Ajay Devgn’s Singam and Ranbir Kapoor’s Rockstar are the other films that Star TV recently acquired the rights for.

T-Series has reportedly paid Rs.150 million for the exclusive music rights of the film, and with the Senegalese American R&B singer Akon signing the headlining item number Wanna be my chammak challo, the movie’s soundtrack seems a certain bet for T-Series. A version of the song was leaked online and became an instant hit; the Ra.One team claims that the final version is much better.

Katrina Kaif edits Shahrukh Khan’s Don 2 movie

Katrina Kaif has always had a long-standing desire of contributing in some way to a film’s post-production. Well, her wish has been fulfilled, thanks to Farhan Akhtar.

Katrina and Farhan became friends while filming for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. She was particularly impressed by Farhan’s multiple talents: he is an actor, he has already directed a few films, and he can sing. Katrina, too, wanted to try her hand at something other than acting; Farhan helped fulfil that wish.

While editing Shahrukh Khan’s next film Don 2, which Farhan has directed, Farhan let Katrina edit a small portion.

Katrina did well and edited the portion and was ‘thrilled’ after having done so.

Shahrukh Khan to pep up Ra.One with more action

Shahrukh Khan is pulling out all the stops to ensure that his sci-fi superhero flick Ra.One is a blockbuster at the box office this Diwali. SRK has now roped in Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra for an action packed sequence in Ra.One.

Both Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra were added to the film because Shahrukh and Ra.One director Anubhav Sinha felt that the film could be spiced up with a little more action.

It is known that Priyanka Chopra shares a great rapport with Shahrukh, the two have acted together in Don and the to-be-released Don 2, and per sources when Shahrukh asked Priyanka she quickly cut short her trip to America and flew back to shoot for the sequence.

On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt has never worked with Shahrukh in a film, but both SRK and Anubhav were so impressed by Sanju baba’s beefed-up look in Agneepath that they could not resist casting him for an action sequence in Ra.One. Good friend Karan Johar helped out by happily giving Sanjay a few days off from shooting Agneepath so that he could shoot with SRK for Ra.One.

Now both Priyanka and Sanjay Dutt will appear in a fantasy action sequence along with SRK in Ra.One. In the movie Kareena Kapoor plays main female lead opposite Shahrukh Khan. The film also stars Arjun Rampal and will release on October 26 this year.

People trust Aamir Khan more than they trust God: Ram Gopal Varma

Ram Gopal Varma and Aamir Khan may not see eye-to-eye. But their cold equation doesn’t prevent Ramu to liken Aamir to God.

While Varma has been praising Amitabh Bachchan’s Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap no end, he hasn’t surprisingly seen Aamir’s production Delhi Belly.

“Didn’t see as Delhi Belly subject is not to my taste but its super hit status makes me feel like an insect..so I just want to crawl under a rock and die a quiet death,” Ramu posted on his Twitter page.

Ramu, an avowed atheist, added that he might start believing in Aamir.

“Never believed in Ram Jesus or Allah but seeing the variation coming from just one man, from Lagaan to Taare Zameen Par to Delhi Belly, I am seriously considering believing in Aamir.... The way he took such a subject matter and made it a super hit it looks like people might not trust God completely but they trust Aamir completely,” Ramu wrote.

Ramu and Aamir have just worked in one film Rangeela after which they fell apart and never worked together again. Aamir has said that he feels lucky to be not working with Ramu again!

Delhi Belly's success bash

Anil Kapoor congratulated Aamir on his success while Kunal Roy Kapur, Vir Das, Poorna Jagannathan, Shenaz Treasury, Anusha Dandekar basked in the compliments. But it wasn't just the family and cast who made it to the do. Chopra last directed “Veer Zaara” way back in 2004 and now he is back with this new movie that also features Anushka Sharma of “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”. The film’s music will be given by A.R. Rahman while Gulzar will pen the lyrics.
“It’s been seven years since I directed ‘Veer-Zaara’ and as I begin work on my new film, I hear my inner voice asking me a lot of questions. Are you sure you want to direct again, you are nearly 80 and the audience is getting younger day by day,” said Chopra.
“Can I really speak from my heart and still expect today’s youth to listen to me? Will I be able to live up to the blind faith that Shah Rukh Khan has in me and give him yet another memorable romantic film?”
“Will I be able to present the beautiful Katrina Kaif and the very talented Anushka Sharma in a way they have never been seen before? Will I be able to inspire Rahman and Gulzar bhai enough to create their best work yet?” he added.
The legendary director, who has made films like “Deewar”, “Silsila”, “Darr”, “Dil To Pagal Hai”, says he doesn’t know answers to these questions, but he has full faith in this movie.
“The honest answer is… I don’t know! All I know is that I’m making a film that I believe in, a film that is about love and nothing else. A film which has an old soul but a young heart. A film which is classic in its look but contemporary in its language,” he said.
“A film which I’m making on one simple faith… the love that my audiences have given to me over the years. They have tolerated my indulgences for the past 50 years, I’m sure they will indulge me one more time,” he added.
